Depending how you design your wall and amp layout you may need to lay some cables before/during the shell build. Edit: it would suck to finish your shell and get everything sealed off only to realize you still need to get your Rcas and speaker wires from your deck back behind the wall somehow. brent379 Posted March 11, 2016 Report Posted March 11, 2016 plan, plan, plan, and plan some more. think about each step in depth. write it down if you have to. personally, with it being your first wall build, I would get the shell completed first without the baffle, then measure airspace and come up with a design at that point. don't skimp on strength. if you have to question if its going to be strong enough, then add more. take your time and do it right the first time. overbuilding is fine, but, underbuilding CAN be a pita to fix depending on the situation.

Last thing you want is to get in a small collision and have hundreds of pounds coming to the back of your head. Number 2, like someone else said, plan out your wiring, once the wall is in, it is in Number 3, Have your design ready before you do any building (obviously), last thing you want to do is jump the gun on the enclosure and end up making chicken soup out of chicken shit.
