you dont need a whole lot to keep up with the bass you have.... you can get it done with a 100rms amp and a sensitivity of 91-92 set of speakers and a whole lot of deadening and setup... you can get cheap and make this work on less than $200 total if you want

two w3 12's

save your money for all the windshields you'll be shattering....

are they making windshields out of sugar glass now....

I don't think it'll be shattering any Windows, but bet your ass the back window flexs so much it damn sure looks like it's going to come out of the weatherstripping. Anyone can say what they want but I've never heard 2 12s hit as hard as these. As for components I think JL has some of the top stuff as they do everything else. But I think I'm going the Focal route. Spend the money and have the best there is.

Im seriously doubting your car audio experience with the comment about not hearing any 12s louder... but what do I know?

Anyway, as stated, you do not need to break the bank on any components unless you are going for true sound quality. If your ONLY concern is to have some mids/highs that will keep up with the bass output then you'll be fine with the suggestions that were made prior. Sound quality requires more than just a high priced set of speakers.

But What Do I Know?

I would get some second skin damplifier pro, get there b-stock which is avalaible now.

Get some components you can afford, i run ct sounds comps with dd b1 super tweeters front, with hella second skin damplifier pro on my doors.

And get a decent 4 channel n call it a day.

If you use the SS or any brand of sound deadning of your choice you will be happy and get great results.

Btw i have ranned 18"s and 15"s in my avalanche n my rear top glass moves alot n its not coming out of the weather strip any time soon.

Get the Focal comps if you can. You'll love them !

Your rear windshield may not move a lot with what you have, but your rear view mirror can move a lot and give you this feeling!

Good luck.

Then you haven't heard many systems....

The companies your talking about are the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the "best there is". If your only interested in throwing money at your setup, I suggest you take it to a reputable shop to do the work for you.

I never said I was a pro. I never said JL was the best there is, cause I know there is better. JL does make badass subs cause I have 2 of them, and I'm completely happy with what they do. Everyone has their own opinion. I was basically asking what would sound good with the subs I have. Probably a dumb question since there are tons of opinions. All of my Equipment has been installed, box made by a reputable company in Dallas. I do know 1 thing. I've heard 12s before in custom boxes. And I'll put mine up against any of them. You can have the best subs made, if your box is shit, then your bass is shit.
