RoadWarrior
I know in an industry like car audio or home audio for that matter its hard to find things made in the USA but when ever possible I like to purchase things MADE IN THE USA. I would like to make a list of all car audio and car audio related products made by my fellow Americans. Feel free to help me with this list..............thanks #1 Second Skin ( sound deadner )

rockFord_Expedition
How american does it have to be to make the list? Some stuff is designed here then built overseas, other stuff is designed and built here, using products from over seas, and then there is 100% american. audiofanaticz
Pretty much every woofer basket is made in China.Same goes for the actual ferrite magnet slugs and even neodymium. Hell even Harley Davidson is becoming more China then expected. When I worked at EST (a division of Leggit & Platt) as a diecaster making the "Jugs" (the things that the pistons travel up and down in) and the transmission housings. We lost the bid on the contract renewal to China and 100s became laid off, me included for a third time with that company. This was around 2009ish iirc. Broke_Audio_Addict
Lots of so called American made products are more like American assembled products. Even if it's foreign made if it's a U.S. company you are still supporting U.S. workers. Hell even if it's a foreign company that operates here you'd still be supporting American workers. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.
