No I am not trying to find an answer to that question...plus I can tell its a sonic FX sub anyway made when Doug Stockton made subwoofers...

This question May never be answered, the crazy part was I actually called the company to ask if they had any 18" cones they were planning on using.

The TC aluminum cones fold because they have no return lip on the outside of the cone. To combat this problem he made the cone material really thick which makes the cone probably one of the heaviest cones on the market. Like the sub is naturally mass loaded. Explains the low FS and the ability to play those ultra deep bass notes.
