same old debate on every one of these so called amps. "is it good for the money?"

I think it should do what the manufacture states. Dont label a thing in a way that is deceptive.

Any time someone lies to you, do you trust them later.

If i sold you 4 subs and sent you 2 you would flip shit.

If a company sells you 5k and gives you 2 its ok cause its still a good deal.

Bullshit

100 100 100

and i never use the term "100". I am too old for that. But that shit is 100 (your comment).

If i sold...and told you you were getting 4 subs but you really got sent 2, don't tell me the price was still "good for 2 subs". LMAO....FUCKING BULLSHIT.

now if you watch this test and you still believe the power is good for the price, i am all for that. You have been shown the truth and then made your decision. You learned here, from us (this forum) and made up your mind...that is different.

But that big fancy enticing "10,000 watt" logo on the side is what annoys me. Especially since there is so many people who fall for it. 2-3kw might be GREAT for that price (if the product is durable). Why not just put 2 or 3k on the box and be actually be good company? :unknw:

i DONT know how i feel about this amp lol. soo many things on my mind but I'm trying to remain positive from now on. Nice test though.

I've been in car audio since the late 80's, I've been testing amps for the past 5 years....I had no expectations this amp would meet it's rated power, but I still am not happy. Not only that I spent my own money to buy this amp and I was "misled" by the manufacturer, but how many other 100's or 1000's of people will buy amps like this not knowing the truth? It's simply not right, I don't care if it's a "good deal for the money". That's not the point....the fact the consumer is misled is wrong, no way around it :lame:

At least once you test, these video's can be googled. Hopefully people are smart enough to google the product before they buy it and see the video.

Thanks for taking the time to test and show us this. The lack of standardization in the industry is a big problem. The ratings as shown on the SMD Dyno should be the standard. This needs more of a spot light on it. There must be a way to get a few good companies to advertise that their products are verified on the SMD Dyno and have an SMD Dyno Sheet like a birth sheet. Then the rest of the companies will catch on. Maybe.

The dyno is pretty new, there are other methods and equipment that can be used that have existed for years. These companies do not use these methods.

No one will enforce anything and there are no legit certifications available. Cea is a joke, it's just a clubhouse for companies to get a sticker and fund the consumer electronics show.

The way I see it, those of us with Amp Dyno's, AMM-1's and Audio Precision's need to keep doing tests like this, and make people aware of what these companies are doing. They will then either rate them honestly or get shamed every time they lie about ratings. Thanks to Tony D and Steve for giving us the tools to make this happen

Those predatory/bottom feeder companies will always be around in this industry. Sucks, hopefully the guys with these tools to expose them will at least educate some. Those that choose to be uneducated will continue to be.

Besides the fact that it looks like a Mosconi, anyone else notice the MOST prominent logo (surrounded by RED in eDGe) on the thing is remarkably close to DC's? Deceptive, shady, predatory. And all done on purpose...

Static drops are my bag.
