Sleezyk
Most dbl dins I see have a dumb USB wire hanging off the back..what are you suppose to do with that? have it dangle in your floorboard? I know the LCD takes up a lot of front face but a USB or even a micro USB would fit easily... Is there something I am missing? My "xbox one" had USB on the side and not front like my 360 as well so, I'm half way thinking its a new trend or something... #confused BOSS Audio FTW! Jessica
Just route it down to a console or cubby spot and run it through there. Skullz
Most face plates have to tilt out to access the cd/dvd drive and a usb sticking out could cause some problems. You can route it to you glove box if you prefer to have it hidden, or just let it hang down to the floor, which i what i do. 01 Ford focus ZX3 Pioneer AVH-X491BHS PPI PC 4800.2 Morel Maximo 6.5" x2
3vil
Find and either make or trim out a location to house a USB dock, so that when finished it looks like your car came with it from the factory.
fosgatefan821
Mine is in my glove box. Rather have it there than some stick sticking out of radio. Broke_Audio_Addict
There are lots of double din's with front usb. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals. mothra
JVC 220BT has USB on the front. they are the only reputable brand that does have USB on the front. all the others are Boss, Axxess, etc.... and most of theirs are some sort of micro usb to usb adapter. I still don't understand the point of connecting via USB when BT pretty much is equal too it except for when using Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. if nothing changes, nothing changes You don't know what you don't know, till you don't know
