Triticum Agricolam
Its an absolute monster and its performance is pretty much unparalleled from what I hear. The design is a type of parallel tuned 6th order design. The low chamber is a regular ported design and the high frequency side is a horn, very unique. The guy who designed it is Ricci. He has designed several other very successful home audio/PA subwoofers as well. I'm quite certain he has forgotten more about subwoofer design than I'll ever know. Krakin
It's painted and not lined, 0/10 wouldn't buy. Also don't have a spare $20,000 laying around. I would have replied earlier, but I was measuring the output of my amp with a yardstick . . . What you hear is not the air pressure variation in itself but what has drawn your attention in the two streams of superimposed air pressure variations at your eardrums An acoustic event has dimensions of Time, Tone, Loudness and Space Everyone learns to render the 3-dimensional localization of sound based on the individual shape of their ears, thus no formula can achieve a definite effect for every listener. audiofanaticz
Also don't have a spare $20,000 laying around. Half that price tag is for those Rockford 19s at $2500 a pop.. That being said, I still dont see no where near $10,000 of enclosure there. Took me a while to realize the horn in it, but then I noticed in the one picture. Krakin
It's for touring and venues so it's just a little more than some of the other equipment I've seen for that type of playing. audiofanaticz
Cant find no videos, thats lame. Thing sure doesnt look like its 40cubes.Pictures dont do its size justice.Im just wondering if you can consider it a horn though. There is not much horn there, just an angled baffle.
