WalledSonic Posted April 25, 2017 Report Share Posted April 25, 2017 Singer 240A alt, 215A warm at 2500RPM, 130A at idle. 395Ah XS AGM Dual runs of power and ground to the rear bank Rear bank all bussed in (4) 15's on a Sundown SCV-6000D at 0.7ohm (ran the 6K for a week before I started breaking the windshield so am running low power right now) Dipped into 11s at idle but full tilt at 2500RPM didnt go below 12.0V. I am on the edge of acceptability, IMO. If I had 250A at idle, I'd be happy! Driving down the road I can play about 4 songs and it's in the low 13s. hdorre Posted April 25, 2017 Report Share Posted April 25, 2017 My old amp was clamping just over 5k. Singer 250, D2700 up front, 3 G31s in back. Mid/high 12s revved and mid/low 12s at idle. Basically, Id hit a wall once I dropped into reserve. Singer clamped 255A revved and 180 it idle out of it, for what its worth. Edit: That "5k" clamped didnt include the 1500wrms on my frontstage.
