joining double baffles without a ton of screws

so i got an fi q 15 neo coming and im making a nice box for it but ive never made a double baffle box .

i dont know how to join the two top baffles though

i could put a few 45 lb plates on them 

i could put some scrap wood ofer them and park a car on them 

anyone have other ways i could do this ?

Wood glue and clamps.

a good layer of wood glue and clamps. if you have clamps that dont reach just weigh it down best you can.

I just glue and Brad nail my boxes and baffles... never had a problem. Sometimes I clamp. Sometimes I dont.

If you just clamp, have your sub holes already cut out so you can clamp the center areas of the baffle too.

+1 to glue and clamps, like everyone else said. 

Another tip, cut your pieces a bit oversize, glue them together and then cut them to final size after the glue dries.

It's only a single 15, what ton of screws?  Like 30 or so? Seen some build pics like that but that is not really necessary or advisable.

i use this method of cutting them after joined when possible.

other times I brad nail it with a layer of glue. just depends on planning for me.

Brad nails are only really to keep it in place.  As everyone else has said, quality wood glue and clamps.  Make sure you let it sit long enough for the wood glue to dry, sometimes for me when gluing large panels overnight ISN'T even enough time.  Also, when clamping it, don't clamp it so tight that all the wood glue oozes out.  When you apply the wood glue to it, try and get 100% coverage so there is no dry spots, the clamps help dissipate the glue but you wanna be sure.  Not sure of your wood working skills but you can cut the holes before or after depending on the equipment and skills you have.  Like said above, I make one panel larger then use a router after it's dry to make sure they are perfectly the same size, even if you're going triple, quad, quin, baffle.
