DB Don has probably forgot more about the tech side of woofers then most of us know. The inhumans were nutso and the fact that he was probably the first to allow you to custom build your woofer with multiple/different spiders was the shit.

chicken we see you peeping . Think you can handle that. Shits gonna have your beard tricking lol

thanks!! i do not support file sharing so do NOT send that song to [email protected] ;) ;) :D

btw: a little fact for dbdon.....do you know that you are part of the reason there is this big SMD thing? Just to let you know, the first SUPER woofer i ever saw on the net was an Inhuman - and i wanted a pair of 18's more than anything! The RF's were nice but i wanted to step up to the major leagues with that beast. You stopped making them right about the time i discovered RE. Since i couldnt get an Inhuman, i went with RE MT 18's and the rest is history - do you remember me calling/emailing for prices way back in 2002, 2003? Anyway i just thought id let you know that you are a legend and i got respect for you man!! Ok enough of that :D

(you are THE db Don im talking about right? if not, disgregard :D)

Yes I remember you, it was 2003 it was the same approx time when I was diagnosed with Cancer and decided to shut the doors and deal with that. I have always lurked and help people with enclosures/designs and now that I am back 100% I miss the building aspect of subwoofers.

Now that I started building a daily driver for myself it feels good to not see the spl vehicle leave when it was done. Since 1991 I have built hundreds of spl vehicles but none as rewarding as your own.

I have found it tough finding a speaker to fit my needs(6500wrms@30hz) but the new sub Scott is making for you looks like it is my best choice atm that is currently available(well almost available). I do have the PSI design but can't afford to make it a reality, maybe someday.

Anyway, Steve you just keep doing what your doing with the daily driving bass machines. In this above 50hz burp driven spl world we need all the ground pounders we can show off to keep the industry growing.

i should have done a lot of things. Of course i would have to know "i shoulda done that" before i did it.......and also i would have to have that song.

since i didnt get a call from you on what i should have done before i did it, i just went with my gut and used what i used.

nowhere did I say "should have" I said "should", meaning next time you do another hair trick use the slowed version :drinks:

What frequency is that low note in the vid and what do you think it's hitting below 30hz. Shit looks brutal man. :shok:

word up man :) i hope it can handle that much under the supervision of someoen who knows what he is doing but for the noob, 3500 or lower is recommended. You know as well as i do that any noob can find a way to smoke a sub with less then its RMS :D I trust u though of course. If DBDON runs one of my Sig Series AA's, i DEFINITLY want a SIGNED picture of that!!
