yup i done did it this time - i glued my rear hatch glass shut :D Got tired of the bass opening the glass so far you can see inside. Thats pressure lost so hopefully some of it comes back. The latch, if you have seen the pics or in person, has steel about as thick as a piece of thread holding it together. So anyway, i got some black permatex and made it permanently sealed. I gotta wait till later today for it to be fully cured since i did it last nite about 5pm (takes 24hours). I can still open the hatch itself which leads me to my next COOL thing - i finally can retire my vice grips because i finally got the new shock-things that hold it open. What a dipshit i am, it was less then $50 and took 2.3 minutes tops to change them.....i have been dealing with this heavy ass hatch for about 2 years :D BRANNNNEEW now though!

i was gonna leave the grips and get them gold plated for the show but i changed my mind :D (<~~~joking)

I was actually just thinking of your shocks today and wondering why you hadn't replaced them yet but didn't want to step on any toes by asking.

looks like you are one step closer to getting that hatch smoothed over since you don't need the window button any more :D

that thing was just barely holdin on

Wouldnt be thehoe92 without teh purple

Sorry steve.

Agree. Steve has posted many times that he has a regular full time (non-car audio) job. Everything he has in there is VERY well deserved, and VERY well earned.

I can't imagine how much free marketing he does just by showcasing the capability of the equipment brands he runs.

How many of us have built our cars because of what we seen him do.

Nobody and I mean NOBODY, builds like he does.

actually im po-folks too......i dont live large, i drive a 2001 with a nice system in it not a Bently. That is a 8 1/2yr old car if i do the math right.

Po-folks gotta go to work if they want nice stuff, i know i have to every day ;)

Words of truth...I can see how a lotta people would've put $30k+ into a new car by now, but Steve just spent it differently is all. No problem with that.

Hey SMD! Again your sh!t is ill man!

I was just wondering if you have any scribble on the work flow of your HU and Touchscreen.

I know the logic but I'm just curious how your set up is and whats the best practice.

I'm also trying to figure out how you have the iPhone, Touchscreen and HU all sync'd up.

What controls what, seems like you have function on all 3 to control iTunes?

I'm thinking of also adding a single DIN to the build I'm working on now for control too. (good idea by the way, makes sense!)

Flow Charts, I hate them but on some thing like this it would really help clarify.

I noticed one of your other sites that bad boy still shows the Avic.
