I have watched a bunch of videos on how to do it but they all use either heating blankets or a heat strip. Like I said I just want to bend one pc, not really worth buying heating blankets or a heat strip. Anyone have anoter method. I am trying to bend 1/4" smoked Acrylic. Skullz Posted April 12, 2010 Report Share Posted April 12, 2010 You could use some boiling water on a rag placed on it to heat it up, just use caution when playing with boiling water but should work well enough for what your wanting to do. Derrick824 Posted April 12, 2010 Report Share Posted April 12, 2010 Will it fit in your oven? Heat it in there on a piece of cardboard. Start with 300* for 10min and see how that works.
