Does that material (leather???) have any stretch to it, or do you have to work it with the heat gun? My guess is the less stretch it gives = the harder it is to work with, which shows you are really talented with your upholstery skills!!

thanks, ya it does have a little stretch to it but the part that sucks is the plastic peices cant be stapled in the back. Usually when you can staple, like on the wood pieces, its a little easier because you can pull, tack, pull, tack etc. The plastic trim is pure glue on the back side so you have one chance to do it right....and its REALLY sticky so its pretty hard to just pull off and try again.

ya if Homedepot carried it, i woulda already done the mesh like that to begin with. I only tried that other stuff cuz it was all i could get on a saturday....it does look much better though (still not the same exact hole-pattern but a lot closer of a match now)
