i use rp in my lower unit on my boat. its even what merc reccomends as a alternative if you want to keep the warranty.. so if they are willing to put their money on it.. why shouldnt you.

RP is the best.... I will only use RP... performance goes up and.fuel economy goes way.up lol

I love it!! I use there tranny fluid aswell...

I've tried Amsoil it was cool, but after awhile my fuel economy dropped terribly and felt like I was towing a boat lol

Tried mobile 1 didn't like it...

Went back to RP performance is great and gas is much better...

I don't see why everybody says it gains performance. It doesn't gain, it just frees up lost HP/TQ. And I have no idea how any feels 5-10hp difference. And its not like your motor gained anything, it just didn't lose as much through the drivetrain. This is why it is needed in everything so you can get the full effect.

Because it is simpler to say "gains horsepower" than "loses less due to parasitic drag reduction".

I used to use it in my car, can't say I noticed any gains, but nothing bad came of it either. I ended up going to Mobil1 full synthetic due to being easier to find and costs a little less too.
