Great case choice! I was looking at getting that when I built my machine but $300 was too much to cough up for a case for me at the time. If I had Chicken's budget though... All the people suggesting stuff are starting to piss ME off and it's not even my computer. The parts he picked out are phenomenal and you can nit-pick all day but in reality this is damn near the fastest desktop money can buy right now. Yeah, there's a newer Intel processor. Yeah, quad 680's beat dual 690's in benchmarks. Yeah, there's faster RAM out there. But there's absolutely nothing wrong with what was picked out and once it's all under water and overclocked there's only going to be a handful of rigs on the planet that can compete with it. Pretty sure low notes don't always use more power. You use the least amount of power at your tuning frequency because that is where the impedance is the highest. 28hz shouldn't be too bad tuned to 30hz. My voltage always dropped the most at 45hz when I was tuned to 34 because the impedance was the lowest. Aaaam I wrong? I'm probably wrong. With builds past I have noticed the worst voltage drop on the real low notes, but I can't claim I know how to explain it. I've always noticed it's dependent on box tuning. If I play a bit below tuning, or significantly above it: that's when I get my worst voltage drop

That's kind of how this place is now. Someone shows what they got, then people say, oh you should have gotten this or trade it for that. :/ I just ignore those people, if everyone did, they would stop. Self-governance is wonderful but I suppose online where there is no identity such a suggestion is heresy. Excellent component choice anyhow my last big PC build had an original XPower in it, loved that board. Yeah you just ignore those people... but imagine you have 10 times the amount of people telling you what you should do like steve would have. Can see how it could get annoying. Suspension capacity is identical on the X as the Z v.4 (same surround and same spider tool; just softer) -- coil will be a bit shorter, though, so that will limit it a bit.

You would need more than a week to really get the hang of 8. Thats why i wouldnt recommend it. I dont like the learning curve on it. Plus not many games/drivers are fully supporting it yet, although they soon will, of course. But i'd rather choose the tried and true option. It's not much of a learning curve if you actually give it an honest chance but most go in like oh I hate it, it's not 7 this is to new and toss it aside. Once I sat down and really played with it I love it. On my machine and monitor setup at home I can just scroll my mouse to the side and see all of my installed software, games and apps. I get live updates on everything I want and the best part is the start time. Even on my little netbook (i3 4gb ram 250gb hdd) 8 starts way quicker than 7 did. I can't wait to actually try it out on a tablet PC but right now on my regular desktop and my netbook it gets 2 thumbs up. The bugs will be worked out eventually so no issues there. The app store is a great addition and without even installing Office 13 yet I am able to access all of my email accounts from the mail app. No crashes, no freezing and no lag so I already know 7 can't hold a candle to 8.

Steve, Since everyone else is telling you what you should build, I figured I would as well. You should get a case that is off white, not bright white, not flat white, not antique white, but one that is egg shell white. It's what I would do when spending Chicken's money

just ordered the cards and i would like to say: FUCK newegg. "Limit one per customer" can kiss my ass. You mean to tell me you can't take my $2200?
