the sucky part is, someone at GM thought it would be a good idea to have a dash at an angle while the center console is straight. So i kinda gota funky angle meeting a straight thing and also meeting a curved thing going on (where it meets the OTHER plastic under the steering wheel) Honestly, the pictures don't look nearly as good as it does in person. I can't wait to finish it! Also, do you guys remember the fan system i installed years ago to keep the amps under the box cool? well years later i now get to control those fans with a TM-1! I am so excited about that! no more remembering to turn them on...it's all automatic now

tomorrow i will spot fill all the little flaws and the creases in between the meters a little better. Those will be hard to hide but i will keep working on that till it is done. should have some pics of it all lit up soon!

i know what you meen. i have the same dash, ive been trying to find a spot to move my ac, heater controls because i have bench seat up front

Recently i was contacted by a magazine that wants to do a feature on the Tahoe. You know what that means. Time to fix all the little bullshit nick-nacks that i have been sleeping on. I don't know if i have many pics of what my dash has looked like for over a year, but i found one. (below). I had framed out the XS Power VCM and my Ridetech air controller and dropped them into the spot below the screen where the ash trey used to be. Well time went on, i worked on the Lexus, i did this, i did that and i never finished it. One of the reasons was i really wanted to put my own products in the dash and now that we have finally released them (the SMD LED meters) i can do just that! Plus, the magazine (Fast car (from the UK) i believe) has lit the flame under my feet to finish it. I really didn't want to post any pictures till i was done but i am starting to become satisfied with the outcome so i figured why not! Also, i know i haven't posted anything new in a while due to waiting on parts for the Tercel project, so i wanted to post these and show that i'm actually busy and doing something Ill jump on the Tercel when the Tahoe is done and ready for the photo shoot. Anyhow, here is what i have been up to. Don't judge it till it's DONE please, it's still under major construction. No its not staying flat black, everything is just primered at this point.

sorry guys so many reply's...and i am out the door for the day. no vacuum lines on this one. I relocated it YEARS ago (obviously) but never made the trim piece till yesterday

Looks really, really good man. Great work as usual. I have 2 questions. Did you have to extend vacuum lines for the hvac, and what was the hardest part of relocating the controls? For your TM-1(f) did you have to do a lot of work to get the probe that reads temperature into your amp rack, or do you have it triggered off of something else easier to get to?
