Recently purchased a 2001 Blazer with only 96,xxx miles on it. Turned out that the title I recieved was not the genuine copy, so it is sitting in my driveway and cant be driven till its all sorted out, but before I found that out, I Put some of my equipment in. Here's what it looks like now. Equipment: Headunit- Kenwood ddx371 Sub- FI SP4 15 Amp- SoundQubed 3500.1 Batteries- XS d3400 up front and XS xp3000 in back Speakers- Infinity reference 6.5 All sky high wire Stock alt for now (once title situation is figured out I'll actually start spending money. Just put what I had in for now.) Dropped in an XS Power d3400 Did big 3 and grounded to frame. First time using a thread tap. Worked amazingly! Used some self etching rust stop primer to keep from rusting Had to modify my dash to fit a double din. Made some room behind it, then made some brackets and epoxied them to the mounting hardware. Took out the seats to run 4 Sky High 0 gauge runs. Ran through the firewall with grommets and ran under the seats.

I was going through the old bone yard trying to find a subwoofer to flex for my Woofer Flex Wednesday video....well i started to use this AA Havoc 12" but then i saw the Fisher sitting over there. I have 2 of them, only one has a dustcap and it wasn't attached. I re-glued it, dropped it next to an SMD......took some pics and even got it flexing hard on that sundown 1500w amp that was still on the bench. How many watts do you guys think this thing took (open air sitting on the bench)? I tested that too Anyway, a lot of you might remember back in the day, just how hard these little things "hit". Everyone knew someone who had one and if your pops had a set, by the time you were old enough to drive, you almost certainly had at least one complete tower (low, mid, high) in the back seat. Probably ran off a home receiver too . Better get that back in the house and hide the wire you cut before pops gets home from work LMAO! Memories... Video coming soon, in the mean time, check out these comparison pics. Times have changed just a little bit haha! the SMD on the left is rated 5000w RMS but as you know, can easily take MUCH more. The one on the right, not so much. 1.5" Voice Coil! Yes! Compared of course to the 4" Coils of todays subs it ain't shit..but damn this thing used to slam!

Doesnt look the best right now, but will make it look better, or upgrade once I figure out whats going on with the title.
