Nobody online (outside of a few) really know's the specifics, and i will let him tell the story if he wishes. But my great friend and business partner Tony D'Amore had a very serious health issue last night that required an evening at the hospital. I just wanted to post this so i can say get well soon bro!!! and a speedy recovery! If anyone here want's to leave him a message he can read from his bed, ill send him a link. Let me say this, he is feeling MUCH better so don't worry! But it was serious enough for me to make this post......Hurry home man we need you around for a lot more years!!

Well the time has come. Antheny (my son) is finally ready to upgrade his system in his ride. I know he has wanted it from day one but i am always busy and he was always in school during the day. So now that he is graduated high school (great grades BTW) we have more time to do stuff together. He has been helping out a TON at the shop so i decided to help him out with some gear. God dammit my name is Steve Meade who am i not to help my kid get some beat with the resources i have? Anyhow, nothing is free here, it cost me some $ but not too bad considering i am a dealer now. Anyway, we aren't going to go ape shit. We are aiming for a nice clean install with some bump. Over time, if the crazy bass bug hits him, he can upgrade all he wants. I think what we picked out will be a nice, well rounded first system for him...and for anyone if you ask me. Also, we plan on making the box look nice in the back. Nothing to wild. I want HIM to build this and we are going to start out with the basics. I had him open up the book and we are building from recommended specs for this first enclosure. We are going to use 4" Tube ports with a nice round over on them. Anyway, i LOVE showing him how to do stuff and then watching him get it done on his own. So i only have ONE RF 19" sub...but i plan on putting a lot of power on it soon. Since there is only one, it may not be staying...but the POWER upgrades will. For now, no matter what, we are gonna get to try the 19" on some real power soon. We are EXTREMELY busy at the shop so it may not happen over night. Plus we are currently working on a Toyota Tacoma (Brandon's) too. So it's kinda hit or miss the days we can actually make progress. But products are coming in and we will get started soon! Ill just leave this here for now.

Ok it is Monday night, again, but it is 10pm here, and is Tuesday SOMEWHERE I will upload the results tomorrow. for now, lets see some guesses. I tested it @ 12v (rated) in these modes. 8ohm bridged - Rated 25x1 4ohm bridged - Rated 100x1 2ohm bridged - Rated 200x1 1ohm bridged - Rated 500x1 1/2 ohm bridged (1/4 ohm!) - Rated 500x1 I also tested it @ 14v 1 ohm bridged - 1/2 ohm bridged - the amp comes with a 40 amp maxi fuse. now there is 3 modes for each test (certified @ 1 % distortion, clipping, and dynamic RMS). This time, guess the MOST power in each catagory i was able to squeeze out of it and add them all up. Only ONE number per ohm load. It says 25x1 in 8 ohms bridged, pencil down the MOST i got (not all three modes combined, just MOST). Then do each impedance the same till the end and add them up. This is a small amp so i am going to raise the margin of error to 20 watts. Anyone who gets within 20 watts of the number i have in my hand, will get an SMD VM-1 or OM-1 (your choice) when it is released. The VM-1 is already out, OM-1 in a few weeks. Remember, one maximum number for 8, one for 4, one for 2, one for 1, one for 1/2....PLUS the 14v numbers too. Then add them up. But i ONLY tested in the impedance shown above. your total number will be MUCH bigger then 500w, because they are all added up. If i had you guys guess the highest actual number, i would have 20 people answering the same answer, so i gotta mix it up and have some fun with it have at it, good luck!
