    My DD-1 and CC-1 came with the same leads . Alligator clip ground and no extra adapter .

    I understand what he is saying as well, just giving him a hard time. Jokes aside, even if that setup worked, you would then know how many VA your amplifier can put out into a bucket of concrete. Still wouldn't tell you how many Watts your amplifier puts into your SPEAKERS You should post the vid of you showing what the AMM-1 can do. That might clear up some things.

    In before it gets closed.... Well I like the AMM-1 as it does more than just test the real power your subwoofer is seeing which is going to be different than what the dyno says. I think Tony's demo vid he did about the AMM-1 is very informative and just focuses on the fact that any DYI audio person can use it for many different things. This thread is getting out of hand IMO. But hey it is fun to read.

    Your a crazy fucker... LOL I like it. I own my dream car. Its a 66 chevelle with a 427 4 speed in it that I built with my own hands and installed. I do all the work on my car or I couldn't afford it. Anyway I have thought about getting a tattoo to commemorate it but haven't come up with a good idea yet.

    I just came in from playing with my DD-1 I noticed that setting my full range with -10 is no good. To much distortion. -5 is perfect. I had the sub set on -10 but really the same thing. -5 is good to go.

    Too many people hating others. Cant we just get along and help one another? I know some of you guys have been here and been doing this for a while but damn it gets crazy sometimes. I guess most just get tired of hearing the same BS questions and people not listening to advice. I for one love the search function and will do this first before I ask a question. Maybe that should be a requirement is USE THE SEARCH FUNCTION BEFORE POSTING!!

    Holy crap I am so excited. My DC alt is showing up today via UPS. Only problem is it snowed here today so I sure hope they can make it. I will be very bummed if they have to wait until tomorrow. Its been at least 5 weeks since I placed the order so I just cant wait another minute. LOL

      That's why I sent back the QP POS and ordered from DC was because of all the excellent feedback. Didn't care much about how long it too to tell you the truth. Just hard to wait for something you know is going to kick some ass.

      its worth the wait I waited a few months ( thiey were the only ones who would attempt one for my car) finally got it in wed and voltage does not drop below 13.8 now at idle

    I read through your build and watched the vids. Kinda figured that was going to happen watching the window flex like that. CRAZY S*&T for sure.
