  1. Oh man that was a hot mess. It is proper now though! Have you addressed the electrical or did I miss that part? I am in horror of what they MIGHT have done to the electrical on this classic.
  2. Congrats brother! Kids are the best thing ever. Best to you and your family.
  3. Slick Components. Thank goodness this thing is in good hands now. An old school Chevelle shouldn't make it all this way to get pissed on by some hack audio shop. Tuned in.
  4. Trim piece looks Great. Excellent work as ever. Trunk is going to be crazy clean with the lid popped. Ideas on the finish yet? Gonna paint the trim to match?
  5. ^ haha On the riot shield- yeah.... gameplay is BS on that one too. I can have a guy cornered, throw a grenade at him while spraying 100 rounds of FMJ from an LMG and he will walk out and one pop and I'm down. All the while, I've had 3 "team" members walk right past with their thumbs up their butts instead of going over and killing the punk while he is pinned. Aaaaah!!!
  6. NO DOUBT! I've played that level so many times where these punks will just lay prone on the back stairs and pop people all day. 20 kills in a match. How is that fun is what I really want to know. That could be it honestly. Every time I get on a team that actually Plays AS A Team, snipers are no worries. Just move across the map and sweep them out. I usually get on these teams where it is just free for all. If I find someone or 2 people, they run off- get killed, and it starts all over again. I swear- I thought it was called "Team Deathmatch"
  7. One of the reasons I've all but stopped playing as well. It isn't just on PC or PS3 networks that people play that way either- I play BO2 on the WiiU and I damn near can't do anything without getting sniped at every turn. My counter to this is what? Well... to become a camper too. I do have fun time to time running and gunning, shotguns are pretty fun too- but my mission is to take out snipers. And not with Sniper rifles, but with LMGs. I camp in a corner, try to find someone who will have my back for a bit, then SPRAY 100 rounds of FMJ across the map. Take out about 8 people before they come down on me, then I do it all over again. and over again. and over again. and over again. and then I realize.... what am I doing with my life? I quit. lol
  8. Nice. I saw you put that in from one of your vids. Looks like it does the trick!
  9. Knew they would look good, but TBO, I'm pretty surprised on the sound. Go Pros do really well with the bass! Nice.
  10. Congrats on the news spot and recognition! I didn't know you were that young and in school too. Mad props. ....I wonder what 12 12" IVXs would sound like...
  11. WOAH. They would pay for my car. In full. Then they would pay any and all repairs to the car as long as I owned it... at another dealership / mechanic. Wow.
  12. ^ good stuff! New Tenney Alt looks straight beast next to your OEM. I know what you mean when you say you wished you had done this a long time ago. I was the SAME way. "Why didn't I already do this??" was all I could think. Build looks great- along with the external speakers and the switches to turn on/off the amps. Very nice.
  13. Good Vids Brother. Makes it simple to understand. I have the same type setup as your vids, but I actually have an additional device in the RCA path. HU to Bass Processor to EQ to Amps. I have to check each step along the way for clipping, but clean RCA output at 10 volts means squat if the Amp can't deal with it.
  14. I hate you axle bearing.  lol

    1. dog24fret

      dog24fret

Lol at least it's just axle bearing. Not axel shaft and spider gear like my old van did.

i feel your pain, fourwheeler one suck bad enough on their own, i hate to imagine car ones

  15. THAT is customer service. For you and the industry. It is amazing how quickly good news and information spreads when people do things right by thier customers. Being in the customer service industry myself- your post speaks volumes Rusty. Way to go Sir.
  16. The Fakuda designed one? That was my first love! That van is stunning Old School. I think it is still intact- which is nice. ;D
  17. Oh yeah. An Astro? You know I'm tuned in! hahaha! 4.3 Vortech. Only a rare few piece of crap vans were sent out the door with 4 bangers in them. ...as if the 4.3 isn't bad enough. Steve, I must say- I have been waiting for this day for a long time. Once you get done with your Astro, I will be able to die a happy man.
  18. Bmike - I just looked at your signature and saw you are using the Pioneer P4300 DVD. The one I am going to use is the 4100, Along with the matching Pioneer 5.1 processor. Did you have to do anything special with the bezel around the Head Unit or did it work without modifying it?
  19. Like this one from SONIC? http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_17325_Axxess-LC-GMRC-01.html Like $40, comes with the chime and bla bla bla.... Says it fits this year TrailBlazer. Look about right?
  20. Cool. That is what I was thinking I was going to have to do with the accessory wire. Well- from what I have read at least. I am going to end up running an 8 awg power run from the battery to the head unit and processor anyway. I don't have any problems running wires, I just want to be sure the car doesn't go all crazy. I've seen some stuff out there that says all kind of warning lights go crazy. I want it to be close to factory as possible... just an aftermarket HU. Freakin' Chevy making stuff difficult. lol Thanks on the Axxess Interface Module suggestion- I will check it out.
