    Another little clip. There isn't anywhere to park and play around me (at least not respectfully) so no full tilt walk around yet. Next time I go to my hometown which is in the middle of nowhere I might whip something up. The best I can do is 45mph+ driving videos for now. I like my little setup, still needs work. I'm lacking on the free time and workspace though. I'll try to update as I go though. Still need to finish laying down the rest of my deadener. I need to finish applying it to the drivers side door, and the rest is going on the roof, and then any left over will go on the rear hatch, then I'll buy more as I need it to cover as much as I can through the entire vehicle.     @audiofanatics: You can use bandpass on the 80prs At least for mids. For the mid setting you have HPF and LPF. Subs is LPF only, highs are HPF only. Slope starts at 6dB/octave, increases by 6 each time, stopping at 24db/octave?

    What other speakers do you have? Are you using the 10's for midbass only? Or for the entire "mid" spectrum?

    You don't need to match your alternator and battery other than your battery rests at 12v, and the alternator charges at 13.8-14.4v.

    You'll need a heat gun or hair-dryer, and I'd recommend a staple gun to hold it in place, because I did not do that at first and the heat from summer had it peel back a little bit

    I'm sure if you browse through some of the GM NBS model truck/SUV build logs, you'll find someone who has done it in that pocket of you need to look at it first.

    I don't have mine there. I've only test fitted it for the day I get one. I have the VM-1, which is the same size, but I put it in the little pocket above that to the right of the radio for now.

    Unfortunately for you, the top pocket, you could get one, but the second one will definitely stick over the top edge. The bottom pocket you'll have about a quarter inch on top and bottom between the meter and the edge, which makes it a good location for them. 2003 Tahoe owner. Same dash.

    Pretty cool. I was a little too young to be apart of the game back when those were popular for use, but it's cool to see them outperform the spec sheets.

    No these are not available. They were never produced for sale, only the couple prototypes. There's another thread on here somewhere where Steve states that the costs compared to the demand doesn't even out.

    It's good in my opinion, but having never used any deadener until today, or any butyl based products at all for that matter, I can't compare it to anything. It was easy to lay on the panel and the outer skin of the door, but the inner skin was difficult due to the components of the power windows. There were no issues with the butyl sticking though (with and without the heat gun, as it stuck to anything it touched. I didn't use my heat gun on the door, just the panels. I think it's a good product

    Got started on deadening the doors today after doing some errands. Didn't finish the drivers side door, but this weekend will hopefully finish it off. I realize that 72ft^2 isn't as much as I thought... Doing the doors and the door panels used up almost half.

    I will. Hopefully tomorrow I can get started on the deadener. All depends on what time I leave the ship. And I need to redesign the amp rack to fit the 2-channels. everything will be a complete rebuild.

Now, the hard part will be having the time to install/build everything. And the space to work. We'll see how it goes, might be a while before I have it completed. For those tuned in, appreciate the love. It's hard to enjoy a build log with no box build yet in an SUV that isn't going to be walled and only has two 12's. Time to get to work this week though. My free time will be very limited for the next few months for sure.
