    This is like when camaro guys wonder about corvettes. Is there a difference, yes. Subtle in some aspects greater in others. Are they worth it... Well, value is in the eye of the buyer. What do you need the sub to do? How much power do you have to feed it etc... These should answer the question of which to get. If buying the zv4 means your broke then odds are you can't afford to feed it correctly all the way around. Get the x Buy a corvette then can't afford gas or insurance.... Don't be that guy

    some people are visual and don't get whats in a CFL so here ya go So unlike an incandescent light bulb, which is a dead short, you have a lot going on! Thus the comparison here. With the changing impedance due to the circuitry the CFL is a speaker and the incandescent bulb is a resistor. hope that cleared it up for anyone who was in doubt.

    It is what it is and there shouldn't be any drama or shit. Bottom line is that with the proper tools you can measure accurately BUT you have to invest in those tools. There should be minimal post dumping here but there will be those who will still try to debate and justify their incorrect methods for whatever reason. No question this tool is worth it's weight in gold. And, in my opinion, a much more valuable tool at the the installer level than the AD-1

    Correct, but the reason that is done is so that you aren't blasting music in your ear while tuning. So I guess I just answered my own question, yes I can load the amp and test. In fact, the AD-1 Loads the amp and the on board DD lights up when distortion is detected. I need to get sleep! lol

    Just want to make sure that it is OK to DD-1 an amplifier that is connected to a resistor bank. Looking to test if there are any changes in distortion point with the amp under load or at "idle". Thanks for any information you can provide.

      I sir, am under 30 and not married, and do get it. It's like when you see one fine girl and can't tell if legal or not so you pass but you REALLY REALLY want it... You contemplate of how to but then those bad thoughts (jail, labeled, etc) enter your mind cause might not be legal. Very similar. Not identical but similar.
