depending on the headunit, if it has "id3" tag support, just drag files to a folder in your computer and use windows to burn the cd, should work fine, and most units can navigate a file system, if you want to keep everything organized

Ive used a bunch of DEI part # 55000 and 55020, one is the line out put converter (high to low) and the other is a voltage sensing 12v remote turn on(we call it the icecube, it senses when the speaker is playing and turns your amp on, and turns it off when the speaker is off) as far as wiring, if it's for subs, usually just twist the grey/white with stripe together, the grey/white without stripe together, tap it into the speaker line, and the ground isnt really necessary, but just connect it to metal somewhere. you dont need stereo, and if you have a shared chamber box with a non-mono amp, this keeps funky stuff from happening.

We've had problems with gmrc's and video decks, especially flip outs. Im pretty sure int hat car, the radio is powered through the amp, which in turn is powered through the gmrc, and it ends up being a load of current. 99% of the time that we've done it, we put a relay triggered by the acc wire to the radio, with the outpout to the radio's red, and the input tied into the constant. alot of times the gmrc/os unit just shorts itself out and kills the battery, it may be worth trying, but it seems more like the factory amp is blown honestly

ive heard talk of doing better grounding, either through a kit or some normal 8g wire and such can net you a few hp. Import tuner had some thing back in the day where they got like 13 hp outta some honda by improving all the grounds.

can do it the ghetto way and throw some blocks in the rear to bump it up the inch or two you sagging if youre just trying to fix the aesthetics of it

can be cool and hook it up to foglights if he ahs em, lets you turn it off if needed and in most cars itll turn off with ignition

as far as i know, legally all you need is a windshield and two front windows, rear view mirror, and side view mirrors. I remember hearing a story about someone with a wall getting a ticket because they didnt have a rear view mirror...but im pretty sure they are legal, as no state i know of requires you to be able to see out of the rear windows

clipped music as in a clipped signal, which is really common on mp3's. The basic part of compression is taking away all dynamic range, making the low noises as loud as the loud noises, and eliminating all and the extra data. The problem is that the loud noises are affected too, often pushed to the range of clipping, where part of the wave is clipped off because the signal expands past the usable bandwith of volume. that being said, it is entirely in what music is played off of the thumb drive, not the fact that a thumb drive is being used.

i just went through this got into college, chose a major, set everything up, made all the decisions then this summer get an internship and realize theres no way im working behind a desk that didnt even last two weeks before i walked out. you kinda have to just dive in and see what happens. I cant really advise against college, especially going away, its mad fun. The debt isnt cool, but it pays for itself in a matter of years. Just make sure that whatever field you go into, you can actually stay in, theres a decent chance that im gonna end up with a business administration major and marketing minor and just be selling crap the rest of my life because its so much more fun.

other than the fact that theyre cheap, reliable, take a load of power, look kinda cool, come with a warranty, and have a good profit margin, theres no reason everyone is rolling with them, besides the fact that everyone, their grandmother, and their fourth cousin twice removed knows the name alpine, and that its quality stuff

the 05dcvr122 kicker box with an infinty 1600a pushing it. got that, a kicker wiring kit, alpine 9870, and 4 rockford powers over the course of 2 paychecks. box is in my buddy's car, amp and wiring is in my cousin's I dont think I'm going nuts anytime soon, between college and having a car that is commonly packed out with people. Plus i kinda like listening to rock every once in a while.

2 Years ago I had a dodge durango, honestly only around 8 miles to the gallon. I got sick of paying 200+ a week for gas (45 miles each way to work, 6 days a week, and wherever else i went) so i switched to an avalon, huge ass car that still does over 20mpg if I baby it. Gas costs me like 30 bucks a week now, but i work less than 5 miles from home now anyway. still want to get a bike though, alot more fun in summer and 12 bucks would last me a month

no need for programs, its built into your computer click start, then search, and look for "cookies" with the "all files and folders" box clicked on your c:/ drive, open it, delete everything but the index (which it wont let you do anyway) and its all gone. or, click my computer, right click the c:/ drive, hit properties, and run a disk cleanup making sure to click the "temporary internet files" box (i cant recall if tis a tab or an advanced button, i havnt touched windows in years) and theres always the control panel then internet options and clear history/cache route as well if you do all three I would eb shocked if they could find any history of anywhere you've ever been, and honestly what I just said is all any program would do, just this saves you finding and installing one, possibly with viruses and whatnot.

Ive used the heatgun/hair dryer and canned air method, it works wonders, heat the metal up with a hairdryer and then turn canned air upside down and spray on until it pops, wipe the frost off with a rag and you're as good as new

assuming a say, subwoofer enclusure, you need: a) appropriate thickness mdf (for back/bottom/sides if needed, speaker rings, supports, etc) resin and hardener, honestly the guy at home depot can help you find it, it is fairly generic, mixing directions are almost always on the hardener or resin. c) glad ware-pretty much disposable for holding/mixing resin and hardener, plus are flexible enough to break resin out of and reuse. Dont mix in your nice tupperware or bowls, it will get destroyed pretty quickly d) paint thinner-for cleaning off brushes soaked in resin or any mistakes so you dont have little brown mounds over your garage floor e) paint brushes-cheap crappy, old ones if you have it, will likely get destroyed f) lots of latex or rubber pvc gloves if you have an allergy, do not want this stuff on skin g) fleece, pick up at a craft store and buy the cheapest stuff, just make sure it is stetchy h) chop mat, can be a little hard to find, sometimes at home depot, rarely at lowes, marine stores have it commonly, or online if you dont mind paying shipping i) respirator, or atleast a mask, and work outside if at all possible, not too great to inhale j) bondo /body filler and hardener, for smoothing out the box once its done, noone is perfect and there will always be some high or low spots k) sand paper, preferably a powered sander and pads to save your arm. Something like 60grit to cut and 100/120 to finish usually works l) staple gun and staples, for attaching fleece to backing/speaker ring beyond that you need primer paint and sealant if needed if you plan on painting, glue and leather/carpet/vinyl if you want to wrap it, but that gets difficult really quickly. Also plan on lots of tape, aluminum foil, plastic wrap, and newspaper if you plan on making a molded enclosure or any sort of mold really. As a pointer, don't wear anything you particularly like, as it will be destroyed, when sanding you will get fine dust everywhere, so try and do it outside, or at a buddy's house. Do not get resin on any fabric, it wont come out, dont get it on your paint, because it always seems to ruin it, basically just dont get it on anything you want to keep for any time. This stuff for the most part stinks, and if you have a wife or girlfriend they wont be hugging you for a while and will probably not let you walk inside the house wearing the same clothes. Personally I kind of like the smell of bondo, but the resin is horrid. Dont be afraid to use paint thinner to get resin off of you, no amount of soap and hot water will.

on the real, every excel introductory level class is full of old people, I swear half of my class was old enough to be my grandparent when I took it a few semesters ago. Take up watching LOST on the abc website, just sit in the back with your laptop and watch lost, you can get through like the first season in a semester =)

onkyo make some great value stuff on the lower end but i will attest to their speakers being complete garbage. right now I have a 6.1 home theater in a box from them, the reciever is amazing considering the price (i got it as a return at best buy, 300 bux for everything), the subs sucks at high volume but is fine for games and movies, and the processing rocks as far as dolby and such, especially with the digital link to an xbox360. the speakers dont last 10 minutes on high volume though, I have a box full of blown ones. the reviever is rated for 100 watts a channel and I believe it, but the speakers it comes with are 110 max and just blow out. Im kind of in the process of piecing in new speakers, just put polk audio monitors in the front and Im looking for a new sub right now. In my opinion if you get a nice yamaha reciever and something along the lines of a 5.1 klipsch set thats the best bang for your buck.
