  1. Don't know if anyone knows "The 10 Commandments of noise Prevention." - Got to know what you doing - Ground loops - Never run signal wires alongside power cables - ALways use 100% shielded audio cable - Never use the ground wire in the vehicle's oem radio harness - Making sure the amp have good auio good ground - keepin' amp power ground wire short as possible. - Don't connect all amp groud wires under one bolt - Makin sure all levels are set good - Nose filters can only reduce noise, not elminiate it... There are others nose whine can happen within the vehicle too....
  2. Alpine.. I tihnk wally-mart sell Kenwood but i dont remember seeing that.. LOL
  3. Depend what size round sub. If you check the cone area thread. YOu can see how much cone area each szie sub have..
  4. Optima very good battery. The yellow top are good, but i know it isn't the best. THere are some good ones out there but just depend on the $$$..
  5. Are you getting spark or fuel?? Are you sure you cable are hook up right and tight??
  6. When you start your car.. Where does it idle at? Does it idle rough when it cold or hot? YOu should check to see if the timing belt have any free play by removing the cover and check..
  7. I first start using kicker for the beginner and it was good budget system. I would upgrade to sundown when $$$ great..
  8. That depend on the amp. Some amp may be able to handle it for short or long period of times. Might want to check to see if that amp able to handle that load on the manual.
  9. A bad axles can cause it vehicle to shake too.. Does the steering shake or no?
  10. What's your goal on this? Is it going to be daily drive, race track, auto cross and etc? Do you have the time, money, tools or knowledge? k24 swap are not for beginners. IF the head gasket blew i would replace it and probably resurface the head just incase. What's the mileage of on the accord? The h and f series are beginner bolt in and minor electrical conversion. I think it come with hyro tranmission with obd1 or obd2 .. The k series would be hydro and it an obd2 My goal is to have a quicker, better running car that'll run for another 300,000 miles. I have the Time, tools, and knowledge. The head is cracked, and the headgasket blew, and it has a bent rod.. I drove it 20 miles home and it's sitting right now until I figure out what i want to swap it with. It's at 326,000 miles, and the odometer quit working years ago. haha I might just get I/H/E. If the tramission in good and not grind or whatso ever then rebuild the motor. Just find a shop that do the cleaning and resurfacing, etc. Or you can just swap for another motor, but i don't what's history of the engine. I don't know how fast you want it but trying to be fast might costs you an arm and legs.
  11. Problem in general. Could be water pump or thermostat not working properly. The Radiator fan must come on to keep the car engine cool.
