what's the difference

I think the xp was designed for quicker charge and discharge rates but don't quote me on that. -
what's the difference
Skullz replied to TylerParrish's topic in XS Power Batteries / Chargers! (and other stuff too)
The xp series can still work as a starter battery, just not under the hood of the car cause it was not designed to take the heat generated under there. The S series has the steel casing on the outside and the D series is the same as the S only without the steel case. -
What size battery will I need

With those amps your looking at 200a of draw on the system and probably another 60+ for the car for a total of 260a, depending on your alt you will want to make the rest up in batteries and as was said get the biggest under the hood and an extra for the back. -

Each amp will need it's own rca patch cord to work, i would look into something along the lines of 100w x 2ch if your going to upgrade from your H/U power cause you'll get a much cleaner sound and have the dynamic power on hand to make those spots in the music come alive.

What a loser, he did not get what he really deserves and i hope they make his parole run concurrently like his sentence. -
Few questions on running active, and small 4 channel amp suggestions

The PPI amp has been sold out for months now and no idea when they'll come back in stock. -
Never ever ever click anything inside a phishing scam email. You can forward that to [email protected] if you so choose to do or just delete them as i do, i get other variations for other games i play and don't play and do the same thing with deleting them as soon as they appear.

Save your money and keep what you have since you like and enjoy it. Screw changing things if something is working well and does what you want and like.

Think of low voltage like trying to run an engine without oil, it will run for a short period of time but eventually it will cease to work anymore and go up in smoke.

3 subs bad to run?
Skullz replied to 84stang's topic in General Audio - Can't find a category for your question? Ask here.
Was the box even designed for those subs to begin with or were they put in instead of another brand? -

Pretty much the same amp as PPI, polk, hertz and few others, it has begun to prove itself as a very versatile amp for running active with in 2way and 3way systems with the way the crossover uses bandpass on both channels. The other big thing about it is it's small footprint allowing you to mount it under seats and in places many other amps are to big for and lets not forget about the amount of power these things make for the size of them. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_40254_NVX-JAD800.4.html -

Buy new shit and then find out that what i had that i got new was fubared to begin with, been through 2 H/U's, multiple sets of speakers and comps from all kinds of different problems as in surrounds ripping at the cone on one set or on another set ripping on the basket side and another set ripping the spider next to the damn coil. UGHHHHH Then buying an amp on ebay that i had hooked up that worked when i received it only to put it away for a few months and then go to use it and the damn thing is blown, not to mention all the blown subs from a bad h/u. Adventures in audio i guess, if you don't walk into a store and buy everything on the spot and have it hooked up it always seems to be something that goes awry and cascades downhill from there. EDIT: Oops forgot to answer the question, i never quit i will get to the end of that tunnel come hell or high water.
