  1. It says 1000 for me under my name, but less than that on my profile. I dunno why the discrepancy, but I'm celebrating anyway.
  2. ...than by saying I've had a hell of a good time here at SMD! I've been here since September 2009 apparently, and it's been awesome. Here's to several thousand more.
  3. The 240 and the 300 are looking a little ragged, but the 350s are all pretty nice. Is that STS kit remote-mount then?
  4. Shok industries posted this on facebook...looks pretty cool, especially how everything gets soldered at once. Definitely saves time that way...
  5. Isn't it technically not illegal anymore to backup your stuff? Handbrake is good.
  6. Another question for the OP...do you know if the airbags and safety stuff are still functional on this car?
  7. My great uncle has a non-turbo Solstice...I wonder if I can ever convince him to sell it to me. Hmmm...
  8. DO want. Holy crap. How did things end up working out with the radiator and coolant issue? I read all 36 pages of the build lol.. EDIT: And I'm amazed at the driveline's ability to take all that abuse. The Solstice rear end and tranny are champs. Another thought...it is SPOOKY that the engine mounts line up EXACTLY.
  9. I own an Ebonite Tornado and a Hammer Black Widow...I'm not as good as the other folks here, but I got a 161 with a house ball last time I went out. (it had been about a year since bowling before that)
  10. I particularly like how they spent all their time spraying the side that had no apparent flames coming out.
  11. Electrical engineering, Pitt...woo! Hope to have my B.S. in a couple years. Maybe not at this rate though.
  12. I have this beastly custom 12 made my Forevrbumpn. He builds a good sub. Specs: Rockford Fosgate Power HX2 motor w/custom machined cooling channels 4" flatwound CCA coil (dual 2Ω) TC/Eclipse style 4-spoke basket 7" flat CF dustcap (looks sick) EDIT: The sub was built for 1000RMS, apologies for not listing that initially. the only con is that there is some sticky tape stuck to the gasket...kind of annoying more than anything else *sub has never been mounted, only hooked to an amp to see it move* As stated, I am looking for a good-condition Fi Q 10, AA Chaos 10, or Sundown SA-8 v2.
  13. A few of you may know that I'm a Pitt student- regardless, this is the second time this week I've been evacuated from my dorm (at 4AM) because it has received a bomb threat. This is getting out of hand. We're past 60 threats over the past month and a half. Article
  14. Engine shared with some Skylines, tail lights that resemble those of an S15 Silvia...I like that car. Any plans for exporting it to the US when the time comes? Cool setup- looks like it's plenty for what you want out of it.
  15. Judging by the majority of cars in those pics, I can't say I missed a whole lot by not being there.... HOWEVER, Quagmire on any car will bring the lulz.
  16. I almost want to stop going for an electrical engineering degree now.
  17. I'm guessing someone may have said this, but why not keep the stock alt on your car, and have another one or two charging at higher voltage, that are completely independent of the stock charging system? As in, they only run your 16V batts/amps. But I guess if you wanted to ground them to the car you'd have a big issue...
  18. Many of the pictures show those systems totally disabled. THIS CAR IS SO SEXY. If they keep it under $100k I'll keep it in mind for down the road...
  19. Honest thought: I wonder why they DID go off in those scenarios though. Kinda strange, unless the sensors are just really sensitive or something
