  1. Getting ready for my last final, which is in 45 mins

  2. When you said response in the original post, you mean frequency response.. right? Frequency Response: "measure of magnitude and phase of the output as a function of frequency" If it gets a lot louder at 50hz, then the frequency response is affected. 50hz would be a peak in frequency response, which is an increase in magnitude. If you draw out the sine wave, you'd understand.
  3. I want you to say out loud what you just typed, and think about it for a few seconds.
  4. SMD.. Go away.. Im trying to do homework

homework can wait until the last minute

  5. Aeros arent a possibility because they'll be too long, but Ill see what I can do with a slot
  6. I understand that most of those who posted calculate optimal port area by using a formula. My question though is how many actually use that recommendation? The reason I ask is because that seems like a ton of port area.
  7. Okay.. So Im buying a pair of 10" DC Level 4 m2s and will be powering them with around 3500wrms. I drive a Mitsubishi 3000GT (has a hatch). The subs and port will both be firing up. Here's what Im thinking.. 2 - 2.25 cubes tuned between 32-33hz. Im a bit lost on port area. A friend advised me that ~35 sqin would work well, but does anyone else want to comment on the box? Im all ears.. Thanks again guys
  8. A cheap DMM will probably cost somewhere between $10-20. You could buy one, and return it when you're done. Autozone could test the battery with a multimeter, but is the Dakota your only vehicle? The problem is that the battery needs to rest (not be used at all) for about 24hrs.
  9. The reason that the Duralast can be "resting" that high is because the OP probably drove to like Autozone/Advance/O'Reilly's/NAPA/etc with the battery installed, went inside to get his battery tested, and they probably tested it right there on the spot.
  10. "Got a new belt also since the pulley is smaller on this alt." -Copied from OP
  11. Im running just under 2000 on my two SA8v1.5s.. no issues at all.. just don't be stupid.
