  1. I have 3 braces in my entire box. That's for 4 N2'S and two 3500.1's and is holding up fine at 155 dB. I'd rather add layers of wood than start throwing in too many braces. You shouldn't need but 2, maybe 3 braces in that box(2 across, 1 top to bottom) if the box is designed/built right. Looks like the customer wanted a lot of bracing anyways. Not sure why.
  2. Better than 150 in an attic. I'm with Hugh, tough it out. Put a floor fan in their if it's that bad.
  3. Those amps get very hot when clipped.
  4. Use the available bolts to bolt the floor/base down and use angled brackets in a few areas. Use plenty of screws to secure the box to the floor, and maybe secure the base of your box to the false floor with bolts and screws. Id also try and get a brace or something to secure the box to the rear deck for added support.
  5. I say go for it. Looks good.
  6. It'll get warm and even get hot on the extreme heat of the summer, but shouldn't get too hot as to damage the amp or go into protect. During all other seasons I doubt it'll get real warm depending on where you live and the weather.
  7. If you got the time, money and want to, I'd build the box around 4.25 cubes. Try it out, play with some different ports, decrease the size, play with port orientation, etc and see what you like the best. That's what I did with my n2 while I waited on the others to come in. But if your like others and want to build the box and not touch it again try 3.5 cubes, 55-60 sq in of port and a tuning of 32 hz.
  8. That's all in your box. Mine do well from 30-48 hz. Starts to roll off pretty good above 55 with it tuned at 34 hz. I'd tune it to 32-35 hz.
  9. Does that amp do rated and at what voltage? What's your electrical like? If your getting 3000 wrms out of the amp I'd go with 3.5-4 cubes with 55-75 sq in of port.
  10. 4xspower.com has a new vehicle application guide that might help you.
  11. I would have lost it, if I lost out on 10 hrs pay. Some people just don't give a shit about others and he definitely is one of those people. Kudos for having the patience to put up with him for this long.
  12. Apparently if said cream says SMD, he's gonna buy it.
  13. Correct. Wire it like I said and you'll be strapped at 2 ohms and each woofer will see 1 ohm. Full, safe, clean power.
  14. Wire a pos from one coil to a negative of the other coil. Do that for both subs. Wire the two remaining positives to the positive of the master amp. Wire the two remaining negatives to the positive of the slave amp. Connect the two ground terminals of the master amp to the two ground terminals of the slave amp. Run your RCA to the master amp. Run your bass knob to the master amp. Connect one side of a RCA from the Master to the Slave. Switch Slave amp to Slave. You shouldn't have two wires in one terminal if your strapping.
  15. Can't have swearing either. I use Big Pimpin's version of Juice Box. Slow it down or speed it up to get it to 29 Hz. I think I sped it up to 33 my last show. Maybe Decaf can do a clean version of Thug Motivation? His version was a full decibel louder than the other songs ive tried but its not the clean version.
  16. There's not even a $1 difference between Titebond II and III, so I use III.
  17. Sealed on the dash? Are those 1200 wrms amps?
  18. Try to shoot for 12-13 cubes and 180-225 sq in of port. Tune to 32-36 hz. Are you going to be sticking with that power?
  19. Just curious about your score, Blake. To my knowledge the highest Mod 5 score is 163ish. I figured you were close to it.
