  7. 1 XL 15 on 4300w, SUPER PORT WARS
  8. My name is Tim, I have my XL 15' on an AQ3500d pushing 4300w daily, granted I am tuned high for competition, it takes that 4300w fine all day long. Glad to see some people here around KC wanting to hit up the Comps, will be glad to see you at the show, and dont be afraid to increase the watts, it will take it.
  9. yea I have tried to mimic the same scenario each time, like I said I think my truck was not at full charge cause my woman had the heat on, and the port could have been louder cause we changed where in the box I placed the meter, it makes a lil difference thats for sure
  10. 3m Super 80 @ Home Depot for $15 a can, it works great
  11. It could be done but its not worth the hastle I agree abort the mission
  12. I really haven't figured it out yet it definatley is puzzling trying to figure out why the nuimbers went 2 different directions, the only thing I can think is that either I wasn't fully charged bc my woman was with me and she was cold, and sat in the truck must of the show or I just didnt pressure up for long enough. I know on the port run I just went for the full 30secs tying to find the loudest point. So maybe I didn't take long enough at the kick???
  13. yea I read the link, and yes if you want to have the most ba box with no paint soak then yea you might as well pull out the resin and filler. I was just trying to give a couple other options to people that have never resin'd or didn't want or have the time to.
  14. I never have, I just sanded the box to make sure all my edges were smooth and the flat surfaces had some sand time to ensure a good hold. I just layer up on the coats on the edges, you can still see an edge where it soaked up a little bit more, but if you're doing bed liner it doesn't have to be perfect.
  15. The next closest ones near KC that are USACI are; 05/21/11 10:00 1 Car Audio Sound Connection CONCORDIA, MO 660-441-5328 Concordia Ballpark Complex - 602 S. 16. I built a burp box for my one DC XL 15 and tuned it to 45hz which in my Xterra actually is about 48-49hz. My burp box is a little over 3cuft. I'm running a AQ3500d giving it about 4300watts
  17. http://www.jaspertools.com/ Straight to the source I bought one and it makes perfect circles all the time, certainly will make your boxes look pro
  18. you just need to buy a set of body door panel poppers, the cheapest I have found that are decent are like a set of 5 at harbor freight for like 5-10 bucks well worth the investment especially if your working on other peoples vehicles that it matters if you discolor the door panels or even worse break something.
  19. Well you have a couple of different options. You could sand it down smooth and spray primer but its going to take some cans of paint. If you have a spray gun you can lay some real coats of primer fairly fast with great coverage then paint the base with some clear on top. If your going the cheap route, I like to build box's, then sand them down use fiberglass body filler over the screw holes and then get some bed coating and roll it on. It ends up looking really good and if you fudge up a couple of spots it really wont be noticeable.
  20. I smoked the taillight on my bike by taking some Black paint and reducing it down and spraying thin coats or reduced black until I got the shade that I wanted, and then cleared it. It looked great it may not be taillight tint like on the windows but will achieve that look that your looking for.
