      I wish it was about audio. I don't even know what road I'm going down with that yet. All my potential builds have been shut down for a bit. This is about life, and it's hard to just back away from that when you have kids, wife, full time job etc. I know I'm not the only one, I'm not trying to act like I have it harder than anyone else. Just having a tough go at it right now. It's a big stack and as broad as my shoulders are, I'm having trouble carrying it all.

    Anyone think a 5.0K on 4 M38's at 1 ohm is too much power? That equates to 1250 per sub, if i get all that power due to box rise etc.

    I'm just wondering if it's possible to do 4 ported M38's on a single 5.0K at 1 ohm. I seem to remember Rob (Thorshammer) having a pair of M38's, although I'm sure they weren't just M38's if you know what I mean, but on a 5.0k or maybe it was a 3.5k. I know at 2 ohms I'd be looking at around 2300 watts, but I doubt I'll get that with box rise etc, and that's just short at RMS with 575 Watts provided I got all 2300 watts out of it. At 1 ohm is just at above recommended max per sub at 1250. I could gain it down obviously. Just curious if anyone has done this or what you guys think on that?

    Well all is out of the civic except for a couple of cables, the front D4700 battery and the singer alt. As soon as I figure out what the hell is wrong with the truck, I'll be starting on it. Very excited!! Need to do some research on door poppers.....whaaaatttt????!!!!!

    I've got most of the design finalized. Have the enclosure design in hand. Got a nice pm from Singer last night. Civic is 75% stripped and will be about 90% by tonight. It's about time to start the build on the Beast-350. Getting excited!!

    Does anyone know if i'll loose signal by taking a pair of rca's and splitting it multiple times? I'm sure this has been discussed I just can't find anything. I want to make a distribution block for 2 channels in and about 12 channels out. Thoughts?

    Need help finding a thread. A guy from Northern Cali, Sac area, had a white dually with a blow through and 4 alpine (?) 12's. His truck got stolen I think at one point.     Truck blow through enclosure is calculated. Just need to do a design and cut sheet and get to work. 4 xl12's here we come! Oh and lookie here, a Singer Invoice for a 6 phase 350Amp alt. SHAT JUST GOT REAL!!!!!!! WHo's in!!??!!

    Well it's official folks. The Loud & Low Civic is getting stripped down and prepped to be sold. It's a good and sad day for me. Not gonna lie, I almost shed a tear! But sometimes you just gotta let go. I will be back though!! I have no doubt about that!!!

    dual 2's with strapped 3.5k's in a box that Rusty gave me specs for, it is tuned to 36hz So, you're wired to 1 per amp? If so, that would be why they're stinky lol. Why is that? Mine are on a single bc3500.1 each at 1 ohm. Tuned with a dd1 and matched with the cc1 on a 7.5k track. Question, if you had your stuff set and an om1 or vu din, and your song is clipped out of the gate, would the meter's pick that up or would it only pick up when you go past the tuning point on your amps? Did that make sense?

    Mine get that way too on occasion. I'm worried as well, but when you play a cd and it happens, what's your guys' thoughts then? Cause it doesn't matter what music i play, they can still get a little smelly after a bit.
