  1. sweet, I always thought about having a system like that. Always wondered the difference between 2k @ 4 ohm compared to 2k at 1 ohm. What 5k do you plan on using?
  2. Ok cool, no problem. Thanks a lot man!
  3. Awe damn, well if you get the tool back and can Check the 12s that'd be sweet, but I'd still like the 15s specs. A friend might be buying one.
  4. The numbers you got off that, how old is the sub? T/S specs change over time. Was really trying to get the specs for the 12s,want to do 2 12s now instead of a single 15.
  5. Since I seen the topic of the blowout sale, wanted to check the specs on the old ivxv1's. Noticed that on mobile the site is all messed up, when I go to different products I can't see any of the info for the product. Also, where is the t/s specs of the old v1 ivx's. Can't seem to find it. Thanks in advance.
  6. Can you update the op with what is left. I have several friends looking for starter systems and these would be perfect.
  7. That's what I'm talking about lol DCR. Rubbing. Smoke/smell. If you have to gauge your coil by color you are doing it wrong ll DCR?
  8. Also, let's see that on a 14v battery bank, or the car turned on!! Would like to see some active alternator powers.
  9. I would looooove one of these. One of these in a 15" to replce my single IVX-15 on some nice clean 1200 watt power. Edit: Lol sweet, my 3333th post
  10. I didn't realize you meant you had 2 pos/neg, that is good. But what you must realize, the NVX batt is only 22ah, I do not know what the deka is, but that is a smallllll battery bank. along with that, the alt itself I don't think would be able to power that amp by itself at 1 ohm. And you want to try at .5, which is basicaly doubling it's resistance. I don't know who said that would drop to 13's, I think it would drop a lot lower than that. I can't remember where, but there was a max equation that is very simple that you can use to figure out how much aH you will require to suffiecntly power what ever current draw you have. Also, your not only going to have that 3500 watt amp are you? I bet your also going to have a 4 channel that is going to be pulling 20-40 amps of current draw itself along with the 300-400 the sub amp will. Please if anyone is for sure im wrong here, let me know how and why. Edit: Look at Karkov's sig, he is running 2 T2500bd amps, around 5-6k in power right there. Has a 370A alt and 1 mega huge batt, and 2 decent sized batts. Nikkita, let me know how your electrical is on that, your alt will only be able to power half of what your need will be, what size are those 3 batts? Because if they aren't big, I bet youll only be able to run full tilt for a small amount of time.
  11. I'd say add in another pos/neg run, throw 2-4 Batts on reserve and you should be good for 1 ohm. then if you want to do .5 ohm, double up on everything basically
  12. class d amps are less efficient than other types. they also hit 1% distortion faster, so busy mess around with the amps. also do what snowdrifter said. you sure your using the rights tone tracks too?
  13. from what I know it extends your range of play. tricks it into being in a bigger box.
  14. I doubt they where trolling, when I had purchased my 80PRS, they called me saying it was in backorder and out of stock, being the new year too they didn't know if they where going to get more. 2 weeks later a 80PRS just showed up at my house.
