My dd-1 said the cda-105 was volume 28 was clip free for the sub preout, and volume 29 for the front/rear preouts That was with bass/treble at 0, hpf off, and subwoofer volume at 15. the cda-117 was clip free to max volume with same flat settings.

If the amp is not turning on. The first step I would take is: Find a small piece of wire a few inches long, strip both ends of it, and put 1 end in the 12volt + of the amp, and touch the other end to the remote of the amp. If the amp turns on, you then know you have an issue with your remote turn on wire. It could be a bad connection at the radio, or it could be cut or pinched someplace causing it to short out. If its not the remote wire and the amp dont turn on when you do the above. Take a DMM (digital multimeter) set it for DC Voltage, and check to make sure you have 12volts power at the amp. If you dont, your power wire is loose or disconnected someplace, or your ground is loose or disconnected someplace.

Im still running a pair of DD C4a 4channels... The amps are decent. So far the only thing I never blew from DD, nor upgraded to match my sundown.

imo $399 is very expensive for only a 200amp alternator, even with your discount its getting pretty close to that is it worth it price. But if it has a lifetime warranty or anything like that like most autoparts stores have, it maybe worth it.

No wall too. Idk if there's another 2-3 db in this with just a box though. But as it goes I'm a noob compared to most of the knowledge on this forum. Either way this will be another sweet build to follow You would be amazed by how much you can gain by a proper size port (vs the 100ish sq inches of port he currently has) in a new box that is not 5+ years old, sure held up great but it has some miles on her!

I Just hit my hat hard with Oxyclean and some Biz stain fighter last night trying to clean my hat.. Needless to say it didnt come clean how I wanted it too, but started to erase my sig. If your having sparks, then you probably have a ground wire connected someplace to a positvie terminal. Also, your missint 2 more fuses on the 2 runs of positive wires that run from front battery to rear batteries. Your supposed to fuse those runs on each end, otherwise the 2 fuses under the hood are pretty much useless.
