Probably some nerd magic that Snowdrifter has lol. I think just resizing and resaving them. Not sure though.

Pretty much it is reducing size, quality, cutting out frames, etc until it works.

Kranny's will take some more work. It seems like gold members have different avatar allowances than normal members

  2. Mac N Cheese Just wanted to throw this up here since I didn't see he had a feedback page yet. I bought 2 DC Level 4 15's from him a few months back, met up in person. Was a very honest and up front exchange, items were as described along with background info of previous owners even. Would gladly do business again. Also check with lem43606 and Underlok, I believe they have bought/sold things to/from him also, and I hope they chime in for a good seller.
  3. That's the thing, if you look in the pic I have, the 3rd wire is like 2 AWG instead of the "1/0" it was supposed to be with a THICK jacket and then the 2nd wire, which was a 25' piece I ordered from AudioSavings, is almost as large as the RF.
  4. DO NOT BUY THE KIT!!!!!!! I am cool with getting there normal CCA 1/0 buy the foot, but I will never ever suggest getting their kit. This is from my new build log.
  5. Click on his avatar, and on the right side above his rep, there will be a button that says "send me a message"
  6. I just got a ZRS-C9, still have to get my speakers and shit installed, but have heard promising things. Need them 36 hour days so I can get shit done.

    No fuses?

wow to some of the above posts........ Anywhoo If have have/look in the manual for that amp, it'll most likely tell you that you need an external fuse right before the amp and will tell you how large of a fuse you need. EDIT: Sonic says a 200A fuse, here's the manual, go to about page 6 http://www.maxxsonic...er%20Manual.pdf

      Ha! Wishful thinking :drinks:

  10. Iirc, that's used when a battery is so far gone that the charger faults out and doesn't recognize the batt is there. Could be wrong though.
  11. And how would you check the cells on that battery? Lol
  12. like this stuff http://www.autozone.com/autozone/accessories/AGS-14-oz-4-g-battery-terminal-and-cable-protector/_/N-25ap?itemIdentifier=249149_0_0_
  13. No problem, I had the same train of thought a while back til I found out. Maybe this is something that could be added to the manual

  15. This has been asked. This has been answered by Tony. Do it with the engine off.
  16. LOL, I just ordered that amp along with the cadence CWM 6.5 component set last Friday, should get here this week hopefully.
  17. I'll be nice this time and tell you guys what I've seen as far as rebranded batts Superstart AGM (Deka intimidator) NGT Xtreme diehard gold AGM Duralast platinum AGM Diehard platinum AGM (rebadged odyssey) I can't be sure on all of them as I have not tested all, but I have a diehard gold AGM group 47 in front with a kinetic 2400 in back with a stock 160A alt and 2 runs of 1/0 and I do ok. Drop to 14.2 usually at idle from 14.6v.
  18. This. XS Power is the best! Kinetik is decent too and a little more affordable. You could also check out the Deka intimidator series. I'll get you some links There are also several name brands you may be surprised to find out are actually Deka Intimidators, just rebranded.
  19. Since that is such a low ohm load in the situation you're looking for, make sure you find out how much power that resister will have to dissipate. if you guess too small, may be getting a lot of fried resistors lol. The normal small ones are usually 1/4 or 1/2 Watt, good 25W ones will look like a steadler eraser cut in half with a couple wires sticking out of it. 1/4W 25W can also sometimes look like a funky looking pipe with wire tabs like this
