all i can say is dont spend a lot of money on those 3512s and sufficate them. they like to move air. ive had experience with 2512s and tried a couple different boxes with them. i wouldnt go under 2.5 possibly a little more. but it also depends on power you are running to them and vechicle they are in. there isn't really a straight answer. it varies between vechicles as everyone knows. DD's reccommendations (2.5 net, 40 inches of port, 16 in^2 per cube) are what they recommend and will yield you good results, but you could find you get better results deviating from those specifications. use those as a starting point. just gotta try out different designs. or contact Pete @ PWK. He has had some experience with DD. haha. anyway goodluck, DD subs defintely know how to pound

Help with recone.
Bump4life replied to mw02civic's topic in DC Sound Lab - Big Bass on ANOTHER LEVEL!
make sure you have it centered very well, use wooden shimms to get that coil perfectly centered around that pole piece in the gap. whaen you glue on surround gently press in center or equally around cone striahgt down and make sure there is no rubbing coming from anywhere, mainly coil. let dry with a little weight on cone so glue tacts sufficiently on spider and basket and on surround and basket!! after sufficient drying lets hear it!! -

Do i need big 3 if voltage stays around 14.6V?
Bump4life replied to lotus's topic in Electrical-battery- Alternators- Wiring
what kind of car do you have? cobalt coupe? what size wires are stock in that car. what kind of battery do you have and what size wire going to amp? That seems almost impossible. Physics should prove that to be false.</p> -
your head unit might not put out enough voltage on remote wire to turn both amps on. check to make sure that is not issure and you dont need a relay

What Speaker Wire You Use?
Bump4life replied to KenC210's topic in Electrical-battery- Alternators- Wiring
agreed^^^ you get what you pay for. also it says made with Oxygen free copper. so it wont be completely OFC. another thing to consider. I'm telling you knuconceptz has good cheap speaker wire. -
What Speaker Wire You Use?
Bump4life replied to KenC210's topic in Electrical-battery- Alternators- Wiring
that wouldn't cause your static unless it is crimped or cut at some point or loose connection. static comes from source unit rca could be problem. if your speakers are amped i woulndt do less than 16 gauge wire. some guys on here and everywhere use 16 gauge. some use 14 gauge. depends on length of run and power going through run. if your looking for good cheap wire, knuconceptz is awesome wire for the price and you can buy in quantity you need. Rockford Fosgate has good wire as well. I run a mixture of the 2. -
