    Can I add SMD Sunflash straight to wood to seal my sub box from the inside and not use fiberglass cloth? I am looking to be able to just use resin INSIDE a box to seal it WITHOUT having to add any actual fiberglass and definitely no sanding involved. What do ya think? Will it adhere? Yes you can add it directly to the wood.You may have to do a couple coats though since the wood may soak it up.

    May want to make sure your alternator is actually doing what its suppose to and that your yellow top is still good. You shouldn't be having those problems with a 240amp alt on a 1500w amp unless you got it wired to something stupid low

    My alternators are out for delivery.Their coming back from DC Power getting externally regulated and also I have the new Quad Alt bracket coming with them.Now to get this wire situation straighten out

    Somebody got some goodies last week. This is exactly what I needed to get the inside of my walls done. If you guys are like me doing all the work on your system yourself, then you know all the extra time you have to lay resin is much needed. I can do the whole inside of the box without stopping to mix up another batch. I went through 2 cans so far but plan on ordering more later to finish up some other projects I have planned.

    gives you the ability to turn up the voltage form inside the vehicle. What I'm trying to figure out is are you gaining anything as far as power for your amplifier since the alternator will still put out the same amperage? I'm not up on the volt/amps which is why I'm asking. It seems like just increasing voltage wouldn't really do much since your not increasing the amperage that's going into your amplifier. Having the ability to adjust the voltage is for being able to run 12 or 14 volt batteries Okay. Someone who doesn't know any better will think they are actually going to gain more output from their alternator just by being able to set their voltage higher. This is the sad mistake many have made in the past and they still don't know. Instead they just set their voltage at 15.3 as oppose to 14.8 and think they are gaining output when their not.

    So the avbm only adjust your voltage set point but doesn't increase amperage? Are there any advantages in buying this over just upgrading your alt besides price?

    Why is it that when I order a battery directly from XS the box comes in perfect condition but when I order from sonic it looks like sombody been playing soccer with the damn battery.At least the batteries are okay but boxes are fudged

      I dont think its the shi[pping company, I think thats the way it comes from sonic cause the box thats on the outside has been fine both times

      Mine came in two really big boxes taped together with a metric shit-ton of tape. So yeah, I'm betting it came from sonic like that. But it was also slam packed with packing peanuts.
