  1. They do it wrong. CLD just doesn't have the material characteristics to be a good barrier material. Using CLD as a barrier is like using a midrange to play bass. 25% coverage with damplifier pro, you do 100% coverage with MLV (Mass loaded Vinyl). Just make sure you use a minimum of 1/8th inch coverage in between the MLV and the panels/CLD with CCF (Closed Cell Foam). I know that Second Skin sells some of the best MLV (Luxury Liner Pro) and CLD (Damplifier Pro). Not too sure if they have CCF though, I'll check.
  2. Every time I click my mouse I get a little noise sent through my speaker. Slightly annoying.

Could be your grounds, have you checked if they're tight?

It's in my house. And I know it is the grounds because I am not running common grounds between the mouse and the amplifier and source.

I can't get common grounds because the mouse grounds inside of its own circuit board.

Must have been the site because I see it now

  5. Instead of being worried about how an amp distorts a wave, be worried about how air distorts sound. It effects it much much more. And the louder you get the more it distorts. Is this getting to hot for? Seeing an opposing view? Why don't you try and defend your position instead of wimping out at the first sign of a threat?
  6. But is RMS what the speaker will see and only see? What happens if he suddenly gets a spike? Or plays a song with a little bit too much distortion? Also I just posted this in another thread. THD is not a valid form of measuring the quality of an amplifier. I'll let a man much more educated than me explain it. http://www.silcom.com/~aludwig/Amplifier_distortion.htm
  7. I don't want to be loud... I want to get clean... Why send a less clear signal that will hurt the reproduction of the wave for a measly 200w? How much louder would that really get him to to stress his system more?
  8. Playing at 2-ohms is over-all a much better decision. The voltage drop will be less, output signal cleaner, heat will be less, strain on your amp and alternator will be less, and much more. As stated if running on the same ohm load the difference in 250w will be very small. As duck stated you then gain the option to later in the future buy another 12 and wire to 1 ohm.
  9. Okay after midnight and I wonder into my first lessons on angular velocity.. LET"S DO IT!

  10. Opened the silverware drawer and thought to myself "Where the hell are the plates..." Tonight has been difficult.

  11. Time to play some BF4 Beta

  12. You have to also factor in box volume, back-pressure, ect.. Stick with the 900w rating.
  13. So now that I have my T3's the question is do I put them in the truck or keep them in my room. T400.4 in truck or a MossValve tube amp inside.
