Ken, if you've seen my thread on amp tests. My t2500 is putting out about 3600 watts in a real world scenario....so I'd choose your sub wisely
but, i know you know more on subs than me anyway. enjoy!

I must be a fool. You have a sub for 6 weeks, but blow it after only 20 mins on a 500w amp with the gain set at 3/4. But I am the one that has to try and be nice.... I think I will go back to my english homework.

How many "secondary" batteries should I run with a 4k setup? I'm being told I need 3 100ah batteries in addition to a starting battery and my Singer 265a. Is this true?? Thats a HELL of A LOT of weight for my car esp being a Daily!!

i've got roughly 4k and my mechman 240 with a d3100 and d1200 suffices. unless you're all out blasting it quite often, i wouldn't worry too much.
