In that respect, all fuses are the same. I have never had a problem using cheap fuses, but that's just me, I do %80 of my shopping online and don't buy anything with bad reviews. Slow blow fuses will take longer to pop as opposed to fast blow fuses. Most of the high amperage ones for car audio are slow blow anyways. Meant to withstand short surges of currents higher than they are rated for. No good when it's expensive amps and whatnot you're worried about! Guest Posted May 16, 2012 Report Share Posted May 16, 2012 some cheap brands rate their fuses at 300a, for example, but can only handle a load of 200a. the filament inside the window is much smaller on some cheaper fuses than on more expensive ones.
