My job is avionic mechanic 15N. Im pretty damn excited to get this going.

And i can truly say the man up stairs helped me get this job.

Anyone have tips on what to expect when i go to basic, or even the avionics field?

Basic training is not bear as hard or scary as it used to be. Do your best at everything and try to be a leader. Not to be better than your peers, but to set yourself up for success when you hit the real Army. Don't know much about that MOS, but the first 9 weeks of basic is the same for everybody.

Stay focused....and you'll make it thru basic. NEVER GIVE UP and GIVE 110%. Basic is not as hard as when I came in, I think you guys get cell phones now on sundays to call home with. Your AIT will be at Ft. Eustis, VA. Its a laid back place in Newport News, VA.....Just enjoy the experience and take advantage of all that you can....From one Army man to Another HHHOOOAAAHHH!!!!

Thank you, and everyone else on here who serves or has served for our country!

Bassless once again. Can't seem to keep a system for more than a few weeks :)

Saving for a '06 Nissan 350z, look for build around June 2012.
