Guest grim83 Posted February 10, 2012 Report Share Posted February 10, 2012 hifonics isnt as shitty as most make it out to be its all in what you expect out of it, if your hoping to see 40k watts from a 2k amp then no hifonics will be of no help to you. i haven't messed with the glx series but if its anything like the brz line then i would bet its worth a shit. Hifonics is known to make a product that will do rated at around 14v (excluding the hfi line of amps). Lbox88 Posted February 10, 2012 Report Share Posted February 10, 2012 jhcutlass350 flipped the + and - on his brz2400 and didn't notice til the wire started melting... replaced a couple resistors and something else, and then sold it to a buddy. That guy is now using it with stock everything and 4 awg power wire running full tilt on a N2 at .7 ohm. sounded pretty bad, but still running somehow.
