It says that the displacement of the port + sub is *usually* 18% of the gross (internal) volume of the box...

Let me see if good old fashion basic math will help you understand.

]The box was 43w. 33l. 22hl external dimensions , port was 19W by 4.5h vent was 22.5 inches long.

I'm gonna take off 3/4 an inch from all your dimentions to account for wood displacment, and convert to cu. ft.

3.52 x 2.68 x 1.77 = 16.7 cu. ft. before port/driver dispacement.

I'll add 3/4 inch to account for the ports wood displacement.

1.65 x .44 x 1.85(no wood displacement added there) = 1.34 x2 (for second port) = 2.68

16.7 - 2.68 = 14.02 cu. ft. after port displacement.

Can't find the exact displacement of the subs, so I'll just go with that .8.

14.02 - .8 = 13.22

You box, with a single baffle, and no bracing at all, is at the absolute most 13.22 cu.ft.

With that out of the way, I do agree that you can acheive more of what you want with a better box. We can, however, recommend different a sub if you still want to go that direction.

LMS-R Ftw? :D

4 skar 15s off those crescendos would work..... just would have to get dual 2's and wire down to a final 1 ohm load on CLEAN power ....if there was any distortion i dont think they would handle it

they say 600w rms a piece but are underrated so at a 1 ohm final load youll prolly be seeing about 1000 rms a piece unless these amps are underrated also which wouldnt matter really cuz they have been run on anywhere from 900 -> 1200 rms safely.... if you do it right it can be done.....

SKAR FTMFW

edit: was looking at specs for 2000d

op id wire them up to 4 ohms and they will see about 550rms a piece on clean power should get loud for sure..... or you could put all 4 on one amp and wire them down to .25 ohm......provided you have the electrical to support almost 4k full tilt which you should have if your running 2 of these monsters lol

i think there real i was looking through that guys stuff he sells and it looks like he finds stuff at auctions and just sells it

Yea, it looks like someone got the mids about a month ago....shit. If I had a whole Hertz front stage my ears would jizz all over my cheeks.

/ LOL

lol, so are you going to argue with everyone who tells you that your box is built incorrectly? (and it is built incorrectly, by the way) Won't get much help that way, at least from people who know what they are doing. Or is he the only one you will argue with?
