I have had boxes 35-45Hz and Just didnt like that it rolled off so early. There is no "proper" tuning, its all preference Quote lower tuning is just hard. Your box is gonna sound like deer shit if you have 2 xplod 12's on a 200 watt amp trying to play 23hz.
