Called a DC dealer in Ontario, Canada and asked about the Level 6 15" D2. I was told to call Rusty but I didn't find a number. I'm looking at about 4 cubes NET @ 35 Hz with 14.5-15" of port per cube. Box will be made by Dustin @ DLDesignz.com. Power, who knows. I was told 20k burp, 10k daily. I'd probably start with small power, an amp that can stay at a proper voltage with stock electrical and then upgrade to 10k when im rich. is this sub not top dog right now? 4" coil, 10k daily, weighs so much. it seems like pure beast.

i was going to do 2 level 3 18's on a aq2200 but a wall is too expensive (~$1000 to do it properly), too much work, too much time, too much to insure, my alero doesnt deserve a wall anyways. This way I can have a crazy sub and actually be proud of my purchase (last sub was 05 re xxx 12). Now that I have the money it makes me want to have a system that much quicker and this way there isn't a wall to screw up. Pop it in through the trunk opening and doneskies.

At a shop, I listened to a golf hatch with a ported RF 12" 600W. The owner said it was on a 4k amp but it must have been 4k max and then actually 500W @ 4 ohms. It was pretty crazy though, it made my nostrils flex but it wasn't quite enough. I know a level 6 15 on thousands of watts will be uncomfortable.

Are there options? Different spiders, cooling, leads etc?

RMS recommendation for daily, 2-4 hours straight? All day, all the time.

Thanks.

Boy stop!!! So your going to spend all that money on a LvL 6 and then try to run it on stock electrical? Fail Fail Fail. Its going to laugh at you and then jump out the box and runaway. You need to do some more research before you jump into this because its obvious someone has been misinforming you. Look around the forum some and you will learn why people have that "Did he really just say that" look on their face.P.S there's no such thing as TOP DOG when it comes to car audio equipment.

If you have a problem with paying $1000 for a wall, then you need to stick with level 3s and not bother stepping up to level 6s.

If you want level 6s, plan on dropping 10k between subs, amps and electrical. That doesn't include the install cost.

Do some research before you come here talking a big game.
