Id love to see if this could be done but it would probably cost more for a PTO unit than an adjustable throttle knob that is out on the market where you manually crank it to open your throttle body to rev the engine up. Since PTOs are usually found on diesels and other such high-torque vehicles I think it would be easiest to use the idle output along with a step-up pulley system. If someone wanted to make a 50,000+ watt bass truck and wanted to be able to supply most of the power via alternators, it would take over 4,000 amps if I'm calculating correctly.
