I'm curious, is the motor what makes the sub? So if I had a level 3 10, and put an xl motor on it, and reconed it, does that make it an xl 10? Not that I'm looking to buy a motor, just trying to learn. Considering that all you would be salvaging is the basket and rubber gasket, yes it would be an XL.
