TBH, its the only thing Ive been listening to for the last 4 or so days (besides Opie & Anthony on SiriusXM). The bass lines are great and all and if you are after something that hits hard then yes, this is a great album. That being said, I think that the rhymes and topics are over used and unoriginal. For most the tracks I just don't hear much exepct talking, and many times it sounds like Psyphe is about a half a beat off from the soundtrack. I found maybe two or three tracks I will listen too abut thats aout it. Although this is not much different than most albums released anyway. Heavy heavy bass lines. which we knew to expect. i didnt give it a deep listen yet though it was 630 in the morning and I just wanted a bass workover. I got it this morning. Its almost scary how loud this cd is. Like i said, A couple of tracks are pretty good. But stuff like "the way i chop the bricks, like karate" I mean C'mon why not just say "Hi i'm Fat Joe". And Stuff like "Chillin like a villan" My grandpa says that!. Anyway, I'm not here to flame and I what i said about him being a half beat off is, On a few of his songs i just don't "feel" it, like he was just going through the motions to make a few filler tracks. I'll will wait and see, I give Psyph a couple years and he will probably be making some great stuff. For now it's just average to me. But he's doing something right if I have heard of him and he's not main stream.
