I'm upgrading from a HTC incredible so the whole having outdated iphone accessories thing is a non issue because I never had one to begin with lol. I was a hardcore android fan but after messing with my buddies 4S, I feel the user interface is much more fluid and dynamic than the androids. Yea the android may be more customize-able..but Im not that tech savvy to get into rooting crap and what not. I watched the press conference and I thought the features were great. It's like at my campus with about 40k students, it seems like 39k have iphone 4s. Ive beat the shit out of it and threw it on the ground as hard as I could multiple times, and still kickin. I am with AT&T right now and my birthday is on 11/8 and my contract is up 2 days later, so I think I might redo it and get a i5, would love a smart phone for once. I have played around with friends' phones, and i like how the iphones are compared to others. In my line of work, I need the lifeproof case. As for the phone itself, I don't think it's a monumental upgrade, but I stopped expecting any big upgrades from apple lol. I was hoping for a little bit wider screen but I'll reserve my judgement till I can see the phone in person. I do think the new lightning connector is going to be a nice upgrade. The 30 pin they've had was crap. I've gone through 3 of those cables in the last year. There is google wallet for androids but I don't think it does tickets, yet.
