Omega5002 Posted October 29, 2012 Report Posted October 29, 2012 And its just not gays getting married. That leads to other things, like what does it mean to be parent? Are gays going to be able to adopt kids?? what will that do to the kid, kids these days already have problems with everything, they kill them selfs just because they cant handle things... now what can happen, they will get made fun of because there parents are gay. And what do you think about this, I saw on google news a while back an article saying how stem cells could make homosexual males a surrogate father. now guys will be walking around pregnant. There is just so many problems that are going to have to be addressed. I found that article http://guardianlv.co...urrogate-birth/ The meaning of parent is someone who raises their children whether adopted or biological, there are lots of mothers and fathers that aren't parents in the true meaning. We also have to teach the future generation that being gay should be accepted just like 50 years ago, kids of interracial parents were ridiculed, and now it's accepted, it has to happen with having gay parents. Reminds me of the Arnold Schwarzenegger movie "Junior", though I don't know how having pregnant men work out. 2003 Kia Sorento Team Subsonic LowsTeam Bassin' on a Budget2016 Rebuild Under Construction Best score: 150.2 at 40hz (3k, 2 Custom HDC3 15's) Usaci style(door open, in the kick)

TeamHT Posted October 29, 2012 Report Posted October 29, 2012 Pretty much. He's saying he agrees they should have the same rights, but that they shouldn't... I will never understand the issue with allowing same sex couples to adopt. They cannot teach gay, any ridicule they receive is a part of life and something all parents should be responsible as tolerance is everybody's responsibility, and if there are children to be adopted then OBVIOUSLY HETEROSEXUAL COUPLES DIDN'T WANT THAT CHILD. You hear the argument of better upbringing (bullshit) and how it is healthier to be raised by heterosexual couples that want them but you're forgetting the child is up for adoption. That man and woman ALREADY gave up the child. Love is love Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?

That man and woman ALREADY gave up the child. Love is love My issue with having same sex couples to adopt is there form of lifestyle. You say that you cannot teach gay, but if one of the parents was say a crossdresser, and they dressed their kid up in clothes of the opposite sex all the time, the child would see it as normal. This could cause the child to adopt some gay views, and it would also cause others to ridicule them. I also know several kids at my school who have gay parents, and everyone ridicules them, and no one will go to their houses because I live in an anti-homosexual area I guess you would say. My uncle is gay. I asked him a couple times about how his home life was and he said that it was full of fighting and it always ended in violence. This caused him to try and become addicted to pot. He said that gay people always resort to violent interactions earlier than heterosexual couples. Just his opinion. This is an unsafe enviroment for a child.

I don't mean to sound like I'm for sure about the fighting thing but that was just the viewpoint that I got from an actual homosexual person. Then on the teaching gay subject. My moms best friend is gay, he has a child who goes to my school, and his parents told my mom that they talked to him about their sexual preferences so that he would understand why he had to dads. I don't know if it was based on his observations or what, but the other day he was punished at school for asking two boys to show him their genitals.

MrSkippyJ Posted October 31, 2012 Report Posted October 31, 2012 i am still waiting for someone to explain how gay marriage causes this. everything you guys are complaining about already happens. i know LOTS of gay people and have never heard one of them say anything about violence because of being gay. IH8PunkRok Posted November 1, 2012 Report Posted November 1, 2012 ill say this I am all for gay marriage. Does not bother me in the least. I would like to shed some light on what I believe others think and why it is such an issue The issue that has always been brought up to me on the subject is proof. people seem to think that it would be easier to fake such relationships to get benefits. Like the movie "I now pronounce you Chuck and Larry" That's all it is really.
