Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through. Hammerdown... 1% no links to outside websites, business related FB/YT pages allowed.

SnowDrifter Posted July 30, 2013 Report Posted July 30, 2013 Added a 15 turn trim pot to my regulator. Gives me better control over my voltage set point. Down to about 2/100 of a volt vs. the 3/10 I had before with just the big one. It's only temporary though. It will all be taken out and replaced with a bigger one when it comes in the mail. And I diode-isolated my fan turn on relays. Now I can flip them on and not worry about tweaking anything else. I still get a CEL whenever I do it but don't care. I know what's going on lol.
