6th Order Bandpass for Alpine Type R - Video Page 3!

Got some bad news. Looks like the Level 5 project isn't going to happen. Was driving the other day and the sub cut out, long story short, one pair of coils are blown, (cut out because it was wired in series).

It's still working on the remaining 2 coils, but having 2 dead coils seriously affects the sub's performance excursion wise. I also may have a buyer for it now since I had to reduce the price.

Either way, I'm thinking about holding off on buying the level 6s for a bit (kinda want to put my tax return and available play money towards my rb26 240 build at the moment) and just doing another fun build in the meantime. Kinda want to design and build a Folded Horn.

Dang dude! Level 6 sounds good though hehe.

oh man, reading this really makes me want to get back to work on my audio build...it's kinda been stalled as my funds have been going to my other car projects all summer. I have a 6th order slide in wall designed for 2 lvl 6 18s and only really need to buy a second lvl 6 and a recone for my current one, but since Rusty released the new 15" baskets, i'm kinda considering switching to those, it would give me more room to work with and make it a bit more impressive. another speed bump in the build is the Roadmaster died in fall and I picked up a new daily and haven't had time to fix it yet.

anyway, I'm glad this thread helped bump4life! I miss dickin' around with the smaller build stuff.
